There is actually an amateur page about Amour that is very nice...
Well, as a rule, amour is very nice -- when you can find it. 8)

Re: A Rough Guide to the Pit

Was it intentional to make Rough Guide watermarked?

This link is broken, right now.
Yup. I'm having the same problem: it says the file is corrupted and can't be opened.

Re: Any plan for à third édition ?

If a given giant has only 9 STA, then, to make him more durable, give him significant damage reduction (=armour, like thick, leathery skin, plus many layers of heavy, shaggy hides), and/or the ability to regenerate STA points after a number of combat rounds (due to some weird natural ability or a ma...

Re: A few suggestions for rules changes

Languages Instead of having points for languages and needing 4 points to be fluent, maybe the languages skill can be more of a “decipher” skill where the hero can decipher written and spoken languages that they don’t know. One doesn't "decipher" or "decrypt" an unknown language. If a PC knows well ...

Re: Any plan for à third édition ?

The rules, being remarkably simple, have as their strength the property of being open to interpretation and alteration -- if the GM sees fit. That is in no way a flaw, but an asset. Instead of a "3E", a better idea would be to have a "houserule contest" where the winning concepts are chosen by the P...

Re: Print Copies/Pod

I just noticed on DriveThru that the Advanced Fighting Fantasy Deluxe has a POD option (for a hefty 60 USD), but the other titles don't seem to have the POD option (if I'm seeing things correctly). Another oddity is that the Deluxe pdf is watermarked, but the others aren't. Strange.

Re: New AFF 2nd Ed Adventures

An adventure where the monsters are the good guys and the hoomans and demi-hoomans are the baddies? The monsters must defend their lairs, cozy dungeons and homey haunts from the depredations of those gold-hungry overworlders. An adventure set on the high seas, with (hopefully well-researched) ...

Re: New AFF 2nd Ed Adventures

My very first FF book was Forest of Doom , and, consequently, I have a great fondness for that book and its setting. Perhaps a new adventure in a silvan milieu, but on steroids -- chock full of lots of monsters, hazards, treasure, mysteries and opportunity for derring-do! Maybe set in the One Forest...

Re: Titan TV...

Note how Allansia is spelled Alan asia in the article. Hmm...The plot thickens... I don't personally think of Titan as exclusively Asian-flavoured. Perhaps I'm reading things the wrong way. Flying Yaztromo, Hidden Dragon ? As long as the Ocean of Tempests doesn't get marked up with a nine-dash...
