Re: Apologies...
Thank you for your kind words, guys, I really appreciate them. I think I will send everything to Graham once it's all compiled. It's mostly just to know that someone else has them just in case things don't go the way I hope. About HedgeWizard's suggestion of simply removing the copyrighted material ...

Apologies...
Hi guys, I'm sorry for being inactive on the forum for so long. This past year has been by far the worst of my life (as I'm sure it has for many people), including the unexpected death of an immediate family member (nothing to do with Covid), and a number of other circumstances contributing to exten...

Re: Tweaks and clarifications to the new AFF rulebook
You don't want to lose the simplicity of the AFF2 character generation system by trying to make it support starting at any XP you like. What might work is to say the Director can pick one of three starting points; Untrained, Adventurers or Heroes. One of those could be presented as the default the ...

Re: Tweaks and clarifications to the new AFF rulebook
Okay so if I assume they start as novice adventurers, what does that mean for starting AS? Orcs are SKILL 6 and goblins are 5, those are standard foes that make useful markers. My opinion is novice adventurers should be at least equal to an orc. It's just not believable to me they'd put themselves ...

Re: Tweaks and clarifications to the new AFF rulebook
One way of slowing down advancement is to start the characters off weaker. At the moment, they start off very competent already. How about starting them off right at the beginning of their careers? Yeah, I really like this idea. Having weaker starting Heroes makes character progression more meaning...

Re: Create your own monster for fun and profit
Fantastic! Unfortunately I can't access your document at the moment - China is cracking down on VPN use right now, so all things Google are blocked. But I look forward to checking it out as soon as restrictions ease up a little bit - this is exactly the sort of thing I want to include in my g...

Re: Lets get started
I would definitely be keen to see material on Notura and/or Marrangha if anyone's up for producing it.

Re: Mongolia in Titan
Great advice, thank you guys.
I'm not currently planning on this being for the fanzine; but I might steer clear of Allansia just in case I change my mind.

Ah, that sounds promising. I will have to check into it - Daggers of Darkness is one I haven't played before. Many thanks, Slloyd14!

Mongolia in Titan
Hey gang, I'm looking for a bit of collective knowledge here. For the last few days I've been listening pretty constantly to the recently-released album The Gereg by Mongolian rock band The Hu. (If you haven't heard their stuff yet, check them out on YouTube - you won't regret it.) It's got me in th...

Re: Any plan for à third édition ?
I remember the one's in MERP were pretty scary too, and I think they were a cut down version of Rolemaster's! They were indeed. I remember GMing the MERP introductory adventure for my gaming group years ago - the one where the PCs go up against that 9th level wizard (whose name I forget). It came t...

Re: Any plan for à third édition ?
Alternative crit effects are my favourite part. Makes combat a bit more exciting. And scary.
And in the case of Rolemaster's epic critical tables, downright mental.
