Re: More Adventure Objectives!

It doesn't necessarily have to be movies. It could be pretty much any source. I was just trying to get the proverbial ball rolling. 8) Try and destroy a sentient artefact of pure evil before it obliterates the universe (the Loc-Nar of the movie Heavy Metal). Survive the infestation of a settlement b...

The ZED Spell

Has anyone used this mysterious, Big Red Button of Doom spell in their campaign? If so, how did you elaborate on the details and effects?

This Atlas looks pretty ace. 8) Hopefully the assembled facts are accurate. It will take me some time to plow through it.

Ancient Allansian

On p. 29 of the AFF2e rulebook there is a mention of a language called "Ancient Allansian". Are there any canon references, or graphic depictions, of this language in the gamebooks? Are we to construe this as a fantasy equivalent to Classical Latin, Greek, or some other, even more antiquated tongue?...

Re: Quick and dirty skirmish battle rules

Sounds like an elegant way to deal with a massed combat scenario. Darts (aka martiobarbuli)?
Javelins/short spears
Throwing axes, perhaps like franciscas?
Halberds (a reference to the old TSR logo). :)

Done!

So...what did I win?

Has Graham weighed in lately to give us any updates? (Not that I'm in a hurry to get it, mind. I would be happiest if he took his time to make it right. 8) )

Re: Entelodon (Hell Pig)

Great write-up! 8)
It's a bit odd to see such a powerful porcine without large tusks, a la the wild boar (sus scrofa).
