Re: AFF Companion - Status

I am literally going mental from waiting. It was meant to be released nearly a week ago and there's nothing. I feel like a spoilt child not getting their way, just ngphm. D:

Lets not forget: Warlock of Firetop Mountain -> Return to Firetop Mountain -> Legend of Zagor Warlock could be used as the starter adventure. Then perhaps after a few different adventures, trouble stirs in Firetop so it's back they go only now the party are seasoned adventurers. Then when they are ...

For me the most iconic is definitely the Gark (or the Ganjee if it was on the poll). However my favourite is the Changling. I love how it starts off as a baby...
And you also forgot Chestrap Beast and Toad Men.

Well there is a spell in AFF called Resurrect where you can bring someone back to life... And the main two species I can think of besides Rhinomen who don't appear in D&D are Garks and Wheelies.

According to Titannica they are "most common in the wildest parts of Allansia" and "it is unknown whether or not there are any Rhinomen on The Old World or Khul".

Very nice! Definitely going to use this! Would Mirala be able to apply to the Priest class though?

Well in some ways yes they are reprints but there are lots of modifications being that it's now 2nd edition. There is one Deathtrap Dungeon conversion to AFF2E but I got it from a friend and I'm not sure where he obtained it.

If I'm going to use minatures for say, important antagonists/NPCs instead of just coins, then yes I use the inverted T with a stand. For grunts/minions I tend to use coins to save money (lol), especially if they're all one type/race. You can of course use the powerpoint version of a paper mini set,...

I had a feeling it wasn't meant to be in 2nd ed as it sounds like a really over-powered spell. Glad you decided to omit it in the end. :)
