Eye of the Serpent

Postby SkinnyOrc » Sun Apr 09, 2017 3:14 pm

I've finally gotten my AFF2 conversion of Eye of the Serpent ready or close enough to it. I'd be keen for any feedback that'd improve it, I'm sure there's some typos in there and maybe some stuff that doesn't make sense. Anyway I hope you get a chance to play it and have a great time.

The download link is here.

Looks great, although since it requires the module to play it I wont do it for a while.

I don't know the original adventure, but I was generally well impressed reading your conversion notes.
Are you thinking about converting the setting into some place on Titan or Allansia as well?

PS please keep Titannica updated about your conversions / adaptations ;)

Looks AMAZING
He just sits there tapping away all day on a tiny screen. But he tells everyone that he is slaying Orcs.

Thanks everyone. I get it'd be nice to include all of it in the conversion but with WotC still selling it online I don't reckon it's an option. But 30 pages of adventure plus maps and my humble additions for the cost of a beer is pretty good value!

I figured I wouldn't try to place it anywhere particular on Titan so it's easier for the Director to fit it in. It's one that could go lots of places, anywhere with mountains and forests. I'll sort out getting it listed in Titannica.

Good ideas!
I'd add a quick note at the beginning explaining the Director where this module could be placed (a mountain with a meandering river nearby etc...), as you mentioned.

It might be good to suggest a place on the map for people running their game in NW Allansia I suppose.

When it comes to XP, I am evil and only give around 3 per adventure, but it only costs 10 to learn a new special skill.

Not quite right, but when I saw this image I thought about the image of the meandering river becoming a snake... just missing the sparkling eye...
